The only thing that a HW wallet does is to protect the PRIVATE KEY for an address, so that a scammer can’t get the PRIV-KEY and have full control. So, if you moved the SEED (which contains all the PRIV-KEYS for all addresses in the seed) to somewhere safe anyone that already had the SEED also has all the PRIV-KEYS for them already. Once compromised the SEED is dead and you need to start using a new SAFE one. Best you can do is move the node to a SAFE address once they can be moved, but the scammer can also di it so you need to be first….
