Guide #4: NFT’s

StrongBlock has integrated unique NFT’s to interact with the rest of the node eco-system. Instead of simple NFT’s that represent a graphical piece of artwork, StrongBlock is utilizing the more sophisticated qualities that the NFT protocols bring to the table. In essence. the NFT’s interact in various ways with the nodes that a person also holds within their wallet.

To be fair, we know very little about exactly how the NFT’s will ultimately play a roll in the grander scheme of the project, but we do have some of the initial details so far. Here is what we know…

  1. There are currently four distinct types of NFT’s. They are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum
  2. The rewards, as well the # of nodes each interacts with incrementally increase from the Bronze to the Platinum NFT.
  3. NFT rewards are static, and do NOT adjust when the node/signal/mining rewards are adjusted.
  4. Later this year, possibly late summer, a wallet will possibly need to have a NFT in order to create any additional nodes in that wallet, but from recent team commentary it sounds as if an NFT will only be needed for early access to new node protocols, not nodes in general.
  5. New NFT’s below the Metal NFT’s are being created and will be introduced at a later date.
  6. Additional benefits, details TBD, beyond the rewards boost.
  • Early access to new nodes and pools
  • Exclusive access to some features (based on NFT type and serial #)
  • Airdrops and contests
  • Many more features and exclusives — well beyond additional rewards

More information on the NFT’s can be found here.
